CARTHEIA uses solar energy to charge your e-cars or your customers' vehicles - in an environmentally friendly and efficient way. An installed nominal output of 3 kilowatt peak (kWP) per car parking space can be assumed as standard.

In principle, every kilowatt hour (kWh) generated by the solar system on the CARTHEIA solar carport saves you the same amount of electricity from the public grid. Electricity prices often exceed the 40 cent mark per kWh (as of 2023). The generation costs via a photovoltaic system are around 18 cents/kWh.

If the energy generated is not used by an electric vehicle, it is fed into your home grid and consumed there.
