Yes, we offer you a professional one-hand service from civil engineering work to the installation and connection of photovoltaic systems. We have qualified specialist personnel, reliable subcontractors and would like to offer you comprehensive support with our strong partner network: individual services for a needs-based project realisation. Our project management team will be happy to advise you.
Of course, you can also carry out the steel construction assembly yourself. In this case, we will provide you with detailed assembly instructions.
How long does it take to set up the solar carport?
The installation of the respective CARTHEIA model depends on various factors, such as the size and condition of the surface, the weather and the current availability of suppliers. Normally, a period of around 45 days can be assumed.
What is the minimum number of parking spaces?
The CARTHEIA SINGLE model offers 2 car parking spaces. The DOUBLE model offers 4 car parking spaces. The carports can be combined with each other and the parking spaces can therefore be extended indefinitely.
What is the maximum number of parking spaces?
The maximum number of covered car parking spaces can be extended almost indefinitely. Limitations are due to the respective local conditions and/or the power limitation of the house connection.
On which substrates can CARTHEIA be installed?
The solar carport can be erected on sandy surfaces and on surfaces that are already sealed. This static calculation is calculated for wind and snow load zone 2.
How does the solar carport gain stability?
The basis of the stability is the solid concrete foundation in the ground. In addition, the design is chosen to provide additional stability through the type of fastening and bolting. Our CARTHEIA models have been tested by a design engineer and structural engineer.
What is the orientation of CARTHEIA?
The CARTHEIA solar carport can be orientated towards the south in order to absorb the maximum solar energy. However, an east-west orientation is also possible – we will be happy to inform you about the respective advantages and disadvantages.
What roof pitch does CARTHEIA have?
The roof pitch of the solar carports is 10 degrees.
What wind and snow loads is CARTHEIA designed for?
The installation of the solar carport is authorised up to and including wind and snow load zone 2. We can help you individually with the installation of a carport in wind load zone 1.

How should the solar carport be cleaned?
CARTHEIA does not usually need to be cleaned, as rain and wind remove dirt. However, if you do need to clean it, do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes to avoid damaging the solar modules.
Is the modular roof waterproof?
Yes, the roof is waterproof. A trapezoidal sheet metal roof with a screwed-on solar panel substructure is used. The solar modules are mounted on this. CARTHEIA also has an integrated rain gutter and a downpipe drain at ground level.
